The three verses of willaya, tathir, and muba hila (selected from among scores of other verses), revealed in respect to the Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.) is the subject that the writer of the present article deals with and makes judgments about from the viewpoints of `Allama Hilli and Ibn Taymiya. What is significant here is that in the analysis and interpretation of the above issue and concerning the personality of Ibn Taymiya as an extremist figure in propaganda against Shi'ism, there has been more citation from reliable Sunni resources, which characterizes the judgments as more open-minded.
