Abstract

`Ali Baqirza deh, whose pen name is ``Baqa'', is a renowned poet from Khura san and an adherent of literary traditions and ancient Persian poetry. His collection of poetical pieces (qit`a) consists of 127 poems on various topics, including panegyrics and eulogies for the Purified Imams (A.S.) which he has selected from among his poems. The writer attempts to present an outline of the poet's style, way of thought, and ingluence in the course of time and to unveil his poetry's criteria and topical axes.
