Abstract
The H oly Q ur'an, logical proofs and gnosticism are known as main ways paved for man's knowledge. In the present work the author has cast a glance at the Islamic mysticism by and through bene fiting from the Q ur' anic ve rse s and re liable traditions especially quoting some mystical words and sayings uttered by Imam Ali(A.S.) and by Imam Hossein(A.S.). Thus the author explains the fe ature s of the Islamic mysticism with reference to the Holy Qur'an and the related traditions. H e has also trie d here to introduce the true gnostics within his own inference.
