Honor is one of the noble human traits and is a natural reaction, as well as a sensitive vigilance that compels an individual to defend their human and divine values or personal rights against transgressors, developing further with the growth of faith. This research elucidates the essence of honor through a descriptive-analytical method sourced from religious texts, specifying its cognitive and emotional indicators. A zealous person considers honor to be a supreme value in the cognitive domain and views the honor of others as equivalent to their own. At a higher level, they also regard their faith as part of their honor and take a resistant stance in its defense. Such an individual expresses emotions of anger, sorrow, love, and aversion, showing no indifference toward protecting the sanctity of their honor.
