Abstract
The nine attributes of "good", "truth", "fact", "responsible", "infallible", "passive", "honest", "true" and "future", have been accompanied with divine promises in many verses of the Holy Qur’an. Although all of these attributes represent the certainty of divine promises fulfillment, they also have their own meaning that distinguishes them from each other. This article has attempted to study the differentiation of these attributes used in these verses and the effect of the context on the selection. Finally, it has been concluded that divine promises, according to the context of the verse, and the addressee to receive that promise, accompany the adjective which represents that context and fits the characteristics of that particular audience. In the meantime, the attributes concerning the fulfillment of the resurrection and its reward and punishment have the most repetition in the Qur'an verses.
