Abstract

Referring to the wives of the Prophet in the Quran, guidance for mankind in all ages and generations raises this question: what is the benefit of reading and meditating on verses containing them? And this is the reason for a series of accusations against the Qur'an and the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) claiming to "privatize" some parts of the Qur'an by the Prophet (S.A.W.). This article, in a descriptive-analytical and library research, seeks to answer the question with the narrative-based "interpretation" algorithm, while explaining the pattern of extracting epistemological, behavioral, and moral messages from these verses. Accordingly, the abstraction of verses from attributes, the extraction of the general message, and its application to contemporary instances, is the secret of the usefulness of verses for ages and generations. In addition, some of the issues related to the wives of the Prophet (S.A.W.) are closely related to the Muslim  belief issues which are mentioned in the Holy Qur'an, not only justifiable, but also unavoidable.
