The function of shared meaning which is among the multi-meaning category of linguistics is clearly evident in `Allama Tbatabaei 's tafsir (interpretation of the Qur'an), although he has not made any reference to such terms in his rafsir. The writer of this article believes that the approach of such Shi'ite Qur'an researchers as Mulla Sadra and
`Allama Taba tabaei to this issue and the function of contexts in tafsir opens a new chapter to the Qur'an experts and researchers in understanding the Qur'an ande delving into its interior meanings.
