This writing is organized in three stages. First: the hadīth of hisn (stronghold), its transmitters since the early period, the scribes of the hadīth, the historians' report, ways (of transmission) of the hadīth of hisn, Sunnites' confirmation of this hadīth. Second: hadīth of faith, its transmitters, Sunnite dignitaries confirming this hadīth, and the related topics of discourse. Third: other traditions related in the Sunnite books by way of riwāyat al-‘anbā’ ‘an al-ābā’ (reported traditions from forefathers).
