Abstract

In the Islamic literature, writing mustadraks is a serious study, which since long ago the Muslim writers have considered an essential undertaking for the purpose of complementing, ameliorating, and criticizing the works of the past generations. Mustadraks gradually turned into a type of religious books. With an analytic approach, the present article delves into the bibliographical nature of mustadrak and its similar types, such as takmila (addenda). The writer maintains that this article is the first bibliographical research on this issue.
