The article is a response to the theoretician who considers the Qur'an to be the word of Muhammad (S.A.W.), while being the Word of Allah. After presenting an example of the reformist criticisms of previous scholars, the writer points out the "Unseen" which is mentioned in the Qur'an and it is necessary to believe in it, and "Revelation" which is a phenomenon related to the Unseen. Then, he proceeds to explain the revelation of the early verses beginning with "Read!" and draws the conclusion that the speaker of this command is none but Allah through Gabriel and the receiver is none but the Apostle of Allah (S.A.W.) who by no means interfered in the coming of that Revelation.
The writer recounts other verses in 10 passages, all of which indicate the Holy Prophet's intermediation in reception and declaration of the Revelation. The difference in style of the Word of Allah with the traditions of the Prophet and the Divine traditions, and some verses denying the Apostle of Allah (S.A.W.)'s being a poet, which are presented in the next two paragraphs are clear and substantial evidences for the refutation of the theory that somehow misinterprets the Revealed Word of Allah as mundane and human.
