Raising theological issues by the Infallible Imams (A.S.) has been greatly influential in the emergence of Shī‘ī thinking in the form of philosophical reasonong. In a philosophical vein, this article explains the traditions of Imam Rizā (A.S.) on the identification of Divine Attributes with the Essence of Divine Unity, and has examined this issue from a philosophical perspective and according to Muslim philosophers.
