The issue of Islamic unity is examined in this article with reference to globalization and the Hadīth of Thaqayn. The writer has re-examined the topic of unity and solidarity in Islam and observed that turning to the wilāyat of Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.) at this critical juncture is the only way to return to the establishment of solidarity among the Muslim countries.
