Abstract
How to understand the Qur'an is the subject matter of the present article in which the writer has examined with respect to the internal and external aspects of religion. In the first part, while analyzing the issue from the three minimum, maximum, and moderate points of view, the writer stresses the latter on its intellectual, narrative, and historical grounds.
