Abstract

Baisunqur Mirza's historical status before his involvement in statesmanship and politics, was concerned with his fervent love for various fields of literature and culture. He was greatly interested in such arts as calligraphy, painting, poetry, and music, which caused him to be known as a cultural figure in history. Among his extant works are the renowned "Qur'an-i Baisunquri" which is attributed to him and preserved in AQR Museum, and the inscription on the portico of Gawharsha d Mosque.
