Emigration is one of the events of the contemporary history of Iran, which took place in the years 1914-1918 (World War I). It was aimed at preservation of the country's independence and cutting off the influence of Russia and Britain. Ayatollah Shah id Mudarris, as one of the representatives of the third period of National Consultative Assembly, participated in this movement. His role and presence in this proceeding was highly influential and as a matter of fact he may be regarded as one of the leaders in this movement.
