The Qur’an establishes a meaningful relationship between the endings of its verses and their content through the precise selection of concluding expressions. Accordingly, examining the semantic correspondence between verse endings and their content provides an important approach to a deeper understanding of the Qur’an’s conceptual structure. Although the divine attribute Qadīr frequently appears at the end of a number of verses, the pattern underlying its semantic correspondence with the content of those verses has not yet been systematically explained. Employing a descriptive-analytical method and drawing upon authoritative Qur’anic commentaries, this study investigates the manifestations of divine power in the created order reflected in verses ending with Qadīr and analyzes the semantic correspondence between this attribute and the content of those verses. The findings indicate that the occurrence of Qadīr as the verse-ending attribute is purposefully aligned with the thematic content of the verses and portrays divine power in five interrelated domains: the creation of the universe and living beings, God's absolute ownership of existence, His absolute sovereignty over the universe, His encompassing governance of creation, and the creation and establishment of the Hereafter. This pattern demonstrates a coherent progression of divine power from creation to ownership, sovereignty, governance, and ultimately to the resurrection of the dead, the establishment of the Resurrection, and the final judgment. The study concludes that the semantic correspondence of Qadīr in these verse endings is based on a coherent conceptual framework and may serve as a model for investigating other divine attributes occurring in verse endings.
