Phonetic connotation examines the meanings of words through their phonetic features and pronunciation, and emphasizes the impact of these features on the meanings and interpretations of words. Today, linguistics considers the evaluation of phonetic function as the first step in studying language, and speaks of the interest and strong connection of rhythm with human emotions and feelings. The Holy Quran has used phonetic connotations in every word in the most beautiful way to make the truthfulness of the divine message more evident and to provide an easier basis for understanding Quranic concepts. Therefore, the authors in the present study have studied the phonetic connotations of health-related words, whether physical health or mental health, in Surah Al-Baqarah using a descriptive-analytical method. The present study shows that the Holy Quran, when faced with difficult topics and difficult spaces, uses words with harsh and unfamiliar sounds. However, in cases where a gentle and calm atmosphere prevails, it selects words with pleasant melodies so that the literal meaning is in perfect proportion with the phonetic connotation. As a result, words that are related to the field of health have a soft and pleasant resonance and bring a sense of comfort and peace to the patient's soul and mind. In contrast, when expressing the concepts of disease, it often uses words that create a kind of difficulty and abnormality in the sounds and can bring a sense of hatred and disgust.
