The popularity of superstitions including untrue beliefs, and false traditions and customs were among the features of the paganism (jahiliyya) culture. In this writing, six of their general instances are pointed out and critically reviewed using the Qur'anic verses and the Islamic traditions as well as the life story (sira) of the Prophet (S.A.W.).
