چکیده [English]

Basra is one of the first cities established by Muslims and soon turned into a gathering place for various tribes and groups. This paved the ground for the formation and the activation of religious, political, social and cultural groups there. Shi'ism as a politico-religious school, was also present in that city, and the Shi'ites were influential in its events.
This paper deals with the activities of the Shi'ites and followers of Imam Ali (A.S.) and the infallible Imams (A.S.) from 35 to 61 AH / 655-680 CE. The main emphasis is placed on the role of emine nt Sh i' ites such as H akam b. Jabala al-'Abd i, Jariya b. Quda ma al-Sa'd i, Abu al-Aswad Du'il i, Harith b. Abi al-A'awar, etc., who had a role in events such as the murder of 'Uthma n (35 AH), Battle of Jamal (s6 AH), the incident of ibn Hadram i (38 AH), and the uprising of Imam Husayn (A.S) (61 AH).
