Religion deep teachings are difficult to understand due to its complexity and abstraction. Therefore, it is necessary to explain religious teachings by simple and understandable method for the people. Parable is one of the most appropriate ways to explain Qur’an the tradition teachings. Parables in this research is derived from definition and division in logic, which is done in two ways: likening the reasonable to sensible, and defining through examples. The parables application in traditions has a long history. This research seeks to extract, examine and categorize parable application language in explaining religious teachings in Imam Reza's narrations with a descriptive-analytical approach. The findings show the allegory parables in facilitating the comprehension of monotheism, Imamate, moral and educational topics in the narrations transmitted by Imam Reza (A.S.).
