According to Islamic teachings, human actions have specific consequences that affect an individual's happiness or misery. Imam Ali's (A.S.) compassionate attention to the education and guidance in Nahj al-Balaghah is particularly manifested in the articulation of the good and bad deeds consequences. This research employs a comprehensive induction and a descriptive-analytical method to examine Imam Ali's (A.S.) rhetorical style and the typology of the actions consequences in the Nahj al-Balaghah sermons and letters. By analyzing forty good deeds and fifty-six bad deeds and their consequences, it was determined that Imam (A.S.), by emphasizing the worldly consequences, especially improper ones, encourages audiences to engage in good deeds and avoid evil deeds. Additionally, it became evident that the number of personal consequences, both good and bad, is greater than their social consequences. Imam Ali (A.S.) addresses the complexities and dimensions of human actions’ consequences using various methods, such as discussing reciprocal actions and mentioning consequences (simple, multiple, common, and consecutive).
