Verses 32 and 33 of Ṣād surah have been the subject of controversy among the translators and commentators of the Holy Qur'an. The source of the mentioned dispute is the translation of the word "اوّاب" in verse 30, the translation of the preposition " عن " in the sentence (عَنْ ذِکْرِ رَبِّی) ِas well as the references of pronouns in " تورات " and " ردوها " which has presented three different views. In this article, different views have been studied and criticized, and according to the register and context of this part of the verses, the letter " عن " means explanation, the word "اوّاب" means return and constant presence in the presence of God. Considering The connection between the word "اوّاب" and the two next verses, the reference of pronouns in " تورات " and " ردوها " are horses. In this view, unlike the three others, while rejecting the evil deeds of his time and is considered one of the companions of the Imamiyyah consensus. The results of this study indicate that Ibn Mahbub's hadiths are in confrontation with two rival discourses that seek to promote the view of the originality of the uprising or the preference of the dissimulation strategy.
